Jonathan Pryce \u00e8 un attore teatrale e attore cinematografico britannico. Nel 1980 vince l’Olivier Award per la sua interpretazione di Amleto, imponendosi come uno dei pi\u00f9 interessanti e raffinati interpreti della sua generazione, non solo come attore di prosa, ma anche come cantante e attore di musical, grazie alle sue performance in spettacoli quali \u201cMiss Saigon\u201d, che gli vale il Tony Award, \u201cOliver!\u201d e \u201cMy Fair Lady\u201d. Molto richiesto come caratterista e attore di supporto sul grande schermo; sar\u00e0 Sam Lowry, ingenuo e patetico sognatore, in \u201cBrazil\u201d (a fianco di Robert De Niro), che lo consacrer\u00e0 nel 1985. Dopo l’uscita di questo capolavoro visionario di Terry Gilliam, Jonathan Pryce interpreter\u00e0 \u201cMorte accidentale di un anarchico a Broadway\u201d, in seguito torner\u00e0 in Inghilterra per \u201cThe Doctor and the Devils\u201d di Freddie Francis. Altro ruolo che l’ha reso famoso \u00e8 quello di Elliot Carver, antagonista del film \u201cIl domani non muore mai\u201d. Nel 1988, Pryce ritrova Terry Gilliam in \u201cLe avventure del barone di M\u00fcnchausen\u201d.
